Apprentices on the programme will develop the knowledge to design, install, commission, maintain, handover and undertake fault diagnostics of fire detection systems with the opportunity to specialise in initially detection system with the possible introduction of other specialised security systems. The apprenticeship will combine workplace learning and practical experience with participants spending 1-2 days a week in college and 3-4 days with their employer. Apprenticeships are a real alternative to university for ambitious people who want to earn while working towards recognised qualifications and a rewarding career.
