If you’re an ambitious security engineer who is passionate about the latest technological developments, as well as your own personal development, come and grow with us.
Atlas Fire and Security has been providing specialist fire and security solutions since 1983. A management buyout in 2007 led to a new strategic focus; creating bespoke, cutting-edge design and implementation. Care and attention are paramount in our industry, so we lead the way with our customer focus and how we treat our staff. We believe this has resulted in more than doubling our growth rate year on year. We work with a wide range of prestigious public and private sector clients across a range of industries and our staff retention is the best in the business.
If you love learning about the latest developments in security systems and putting them to use on high-profile projects, you’ll truly enjoy working with us. Hardly any two days are the same for our engineers. In the past, we’ve made life easier for residents with mobility issues, learning disabilities or mental health problems with a state-of-the-art SimpleHome intelligent home automation system at Triangle Housing Association. We’ve also met the very high standards set by The Titanic Hotel, one of the finest luxury hotels in Liverpool, where we designed, installed and commissioned a fully integrated internal and external CCTV security system. Or how about being the final team onsite to complete the £7 million regeneration of the iconic Brandywell football stadium.
Experience of working with other security products would be an advantage, as would a working knowledge of building regulations, but the main requirement is your passion and enjoyment of the job.
We are accredited by NSI and are NSI Gold approved installers. We are also members of Investors In People. If you want to build a career in security engineering, we’ll give you all the training and support you need. That includes the NVQ Technical Certificate in Fire & Security or your City & Guilds 17th Edition Electrical. We care that much for your wellbeing; we were one of the key drivers in the recent setup of the Northern Ireland Fire & Security Association, which supports and develops companies, engineers and best practices within our industry.
With Atlas World you could become a team leader in three years. However, it’s not just training and development where we are an industry leader; our benefits are first class too.
You can top up your competitive salary with as much overtime as you care for. It’s up to you, as long as you deliver a first-class service from 8.30-5.00 (finishing at 4pm on a Friday). We offer performance bonuses and loyalty recognition schemes, pension and private medical cover for you and your children.
If a truly rewarding, long-term career with us sounds like a fantastic proposition, apply by sending your CV by email to email@example.com FAO Alison Carty.
All completed CV’s must be received by 12:00pm (midday) on Wednesday 31st January 2018.
CV’s received after this deadline will not be accepted.
