SALES SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

Hours:                                8:30am – 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday)

                                           8:30am – 4:00pm (Friday)

Reporting to:                  Sales and Marketing Director


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Input orders on to the system on a daily basis
  • Handling customer enquiries regarding orders, project details, etc
  • Liaise with the Sales Team to ensure customer orders are created with accuracy when queries arise.
  • Respond to all inbound calls and convert to an order, ensuring that the full range of products and services are promoted and explained to Customers.
  • Working within the Sales & Install process – including quotes and job processing,
  • Carrying out sales admin for the sales team
  • Putting Job packs together
  • Collate & pre-commissioning packs for all installs
  • Collate all final certification for installs
  • Ensure all paperwork is followed up, documents are completed with all parties notified
  • Any other duties as required by Line manager

 


THE PERSON

 

  • Relevant administrative experience
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English (GCSE in Maths & English C or above)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise work
  • Proficient with  Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Computer and keyboard skills

We take the time to understand all of our customers. You will be expected to have a deep knowledge of Audio Visual system solutions to tailor the best designs to suit every individual circumstance. You will be constantly up to speed with the latest technology to create custom-built systems that meet the client’s budget; working hand-in-hand with some of the best engineers in the business. We want you to set the standards; not just achieve them.

As well as generating business through our current clients, you will expand our customer portfolio with new business. You will demonstrate your experience of dealing with all levels of clients at various stages of the sales lifecycle.

 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

You must have a track record of sales success within the Fire & Security sector. You will be comfortable targeting and building relationships and have an established customer base to work from.


 RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead Management – self generation of leads through planning & execution of business development activities from a variety of lead sources. Identify and qualify leads against solutions to pursue to bid. Collaborate across business channels and other enterprise solutions where lead can be supported, as required.
  • Account/Territory Planning – through planning activities, identify accounts to target for growth opportunities against enterprise solutions. Define account plan with SMART objectives.
  • Opportunity Planning – Identify opportunity to bid, fully qualify with the customer & engage in a pre-bid review. Form a bid team to identify critical must wins/complex/large opportunities, define roles of team, technical strategy, value proposition and next actions.
  • Survey, Configure, Price, Quote – survey customer sites, prepare costs, specifications and quotations to propose solution’s to the customer.
  • Presentations – Carry out technical/bid presentations around the proposed/defined solutions to the customer or influencer.
  • Opportunity Management – manage sales pipeline proactively through each sales stage, recording all relevant information, accurate close dates and next actions driven through planning of tasks/events.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills – possess and develop through coaching and learning
  • Product / Technical Knowledge – maintain & develop solution specific product and technical knowledge/skills through training and learning.
  • Risk Management – ensure that all internal sales processes are adhered to including bid authority, legal requirements, company compliance and governance requirements through sales and relationship management activities. Ensure compliance with the companies Environmental, Health & Safety Policy – Zero Harm.
  • Additional responsibilities and requirements may be required dependant on business needs.
