We would like a credit controller who will look after their ledger of clients as if it was their own business. You will absolutely thrive in this job if you are innately organised and stay one step ahead of the unfolding developments between the sales team, their customers and their credit relationship with Atlas World. A weekly credit management meeting is held involving the sales representatives, you, the accounts manager and the Atlas World directors. You will be confident in your ability of understanding risk, setting credit limits and making informed decisions on withholding or continuing with supply and services.

Once you’ve built up the relationships with our long-standing clients, you’ll have the experience to know how to handle each individually, so that our bad debt is reduced, and the cash flow is improved. There is a shared responsibility in dealing with bad debts, but your tenacious attitude in resolving credit issues will be handsomely rewarded. Previous experience of working with the construction industry and using Sage would be a distinct advantage, but not essential. A first-class attitude is more important.




We’re huge supporters of the development of our staff and are accredited by Investors In People. You’ll need to have experience of successfully managing a busy ledger. However, we’ll fund any ICM exams, advanced Excel or other development programmes you wish to participate in. We want you to grow as we grow. 

Reporting to the Accounts Director, you’ll work in a close-knit team of four. As well as performance bonuses, we offer pensions and a private medical scheme for you and your children.
