At the core of our Fire Suppression product is a unique flexible detection tubing that delivers 100% effectiveness, with zero false alarms. Placed in and around the fire risk areas, the tubing will burst at the point of highest heat in the event of a fire. Keeping simplicity at the forefront, there are two unique systems for use across a range of applications, namely the:
The Direct System utilises the detection tubing as both a fire detection device and the fire suppressing agent delivery system. The tubing is installed in and around the fire risk areas. When a fire occurs, the tubing will burst at the point of highest heat, forming an effective discharge “nozzle”. The agent is then delivered through the tubing at the burst point, suppressing the fire quickly and thoroughly – right at the point of inception.
Offering a simple solution that will safeguard valuable assets, the CT Direct system works when the detection tubing reacts with heat, creating internal pressure causing the tube to burst, accurately discharging the extinguishing medium directly on to the risk area.
This means that wherever the tube is routed, the application has a nozzle, ready to detect, react and suppress.
The Indirect System utilises tubing as a detection-only device. When the tubing ruptures, the extinguishing agent is delivered through a network of braided hose or stainless steel tubing to strategically placed nozzles within the protected enclosure. Indirect systems are available with a manual release option which allows the operator to activate the system at the first sign of trouble.
For applications which require a fire suppression system that can react within the most volatile of situations, the CTX In-Direct system functions with the same principles as the CT Direct system, but with the addition of a network of double-braided or stainless-steel hoses strategically placed within the protected enclosure.
