Announcing our new charity partnership for 2018
Atlas World are delighted to announce that our Charity Partnership for 2018 is Cancer Fund for Children
Creating a World of Difference for the future is important to us at Atlas World, and as such we are privileged to have as our 2018 charity partner, Cancer Fund for Children, who are making a difference to the world of our young people in Northern Ireland Battling Cancer.
Providing practical, emotional and financial support to children and young people
Cancer Fund for Children is the leading local charity that provides practical, emotional and financial support to children and young people aged 0 to 24 affected by cancer & their families. They offer free therapeutic short breaks to families from N. Ireland and the Republic of Ireland at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle Co. Down and self-catering breaks at Pine, Birch and Oak Cottages in Coleraine.
“Sometimes, real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles”
Matthew Allen, Corporate Fundraiser from Cancer Fund for Children said “ I am delighted that Cancer Fund for Children have been selected as Atlas World’s nominated charity for 2018. I am looking forward to working with Atlas World and raise much needed money to support children affected by Cancer in Northern Ireland. As a local charity we receive less than 0.5% of our income from the government, so we really rely on businesses like Atlas World in order to continue supporting children living with cancer, and their families. I really am so grateful to the team at Atlas World for their support and look forward to working with them this year.”
What’s happening next?
Robert Creagmile, Sales & Marketing Director at Atlas World said, “Atlas World has a long history of working with local charities and I’m sure that this will be a really successful partnership that will help Cancer Fund for Children to continue to provide their essential care and support. With numerous fundraising activities already planned for this year, we are ready to get started! We will be keeping you up-to-date with our latest activities on our social media channels and any support from our customers, friends and families would be greatly appreciated as always.”
Let the fundraising begin!
